Description

The "original form" of the Bee shrimp. Its pattern and coloration are not as intense and uniform as those of selectively bred strains.

This species tolerates a wider range of hardness and pH values, but the best breeding rate is achieved in soft, slightly acidic water.

How breeding happens

Mating takes place immediately after the female molts.
