Description

Ammannia crassicaulis, a bog plant, grows up to 50 cm tall and is native to African and Madagascan tropical swamps, rice paddies, and rivulets. It is often mistaken for Ammannia gracilis due to their similar appearance, but A. crassicaulis tends to have less vibrant red hues in aquarium settings, displaying a yellowish green to pale red coloration.
