Description

Anubias barteri var. angustifolia is a variety of Anubias barteri that originates from West Africa (Guinea, Liberia, Ivory Coast, and Cameroon). It is characterized by its narrow, lineal to very narrowly oval leaves, which are 10-30 cm long, with straight margins and reddish-brown stalks. This variety can be distinguished from A. barteri var. glabra, which has oval to lanceolate leaves. Anubias barteri var. angustifolia is easy to cultivate and can be grown as an epiphyte on rocks or driftwood or planted in the substrate.
