Description
Anubias gracilis is a larger species within the Anubias genus, typically found growing on jungle river banks in West Africa. Its leaves are triangular or heart-shaped, measuring 7-12 cm in length and 4-10 cm in width. The plant has long stalks (30-60 cm) supporting its leaves. The rhizome is approximately 1-1.5 cm thick when cultivated submersed in an aquarium, whereas it tends to grow larger emersed in a terrarium or paludarium with sufficient moisture and relatively low light.
