Description

Anubias "nangi" is a hybrid created by Robert A. Gasser, resulting from the cross of A. barteri var. nana and A. gilletii. The plant has been in trade since 1986, but it is now a relatively rare variety. It can be distinguished from similar varieties of A. barteri and A. heterophylla by its wide-lanceolate, acuminate leaf shape. Leaves are slightly bullous, shiny, and dark green in color.
