Description
This fern was imported from Sarawak in Malaysian Borneo, specifically from Sungai Kabo river. It likely adapts to flowing water, similar to Bolbitis heteroclita. The medium to dark green leaves are lanceolate to lineal and grow on stalks from a creeping rhizome. Each leaf blade has a short obtuse lobe at the base. This fern resembles narrow-leaved Java fern (Microsorum pteropus). It is primarily cultivated by hobbyists, not commercially available. The plant grows in emersed groups on rocky ridges along the median waterline in fast-flowing rainforest rivers with rocky underground.
