Description

Clinopodium brownei, also known as Browne's savory or Micromeria brownei, is a stem plant native to the Americas, including areas along the Gulf of Mexico, Central America, and South America. It can be found in moist to wet locations. The plant has tetragonal stems with alternate leaves that have a stalk and are widely ovate, featuring notched margins. The leaf blade measures 1.5-2.5 cm long on a petiole approximately 1 cm long. The emersed form grows creeping to ascending, while the submersed form is upright with few lateral shoots. Stems and leaves are green in color.
