Description

Cryptocoryne crispatula var. flaccidifolia is a variety of Cryptocoryne crispatula characterized by long, narrow, smooth to undulate green to reddish-brown leaves. The leaves of emersed plants are flaccid. Submersed leaves grow up to 20-50 cm in length and 5-12 mm in width. Its leaf width differs from that of C. crisptaula var. tonkinensis (2-4 mm wide) and C. crispatula var. balansae (15-40 mm wide). This variety is found in Thailand, Vietnam, and Southern China, where it grows mainly submersed in rivulets and rivers.
