Description

Cryptocoryne tonkinensis is actually a new variety of Cryptocoryne crispatula, specifically described as C. crispatula var. kubotae by Jacobsen & al. (2015). This variety differs from the true and broader-leaved var. tonkinensis found in northern Vietnam and southeastern China (Guangxi).
