Description

Cuphea anagalloidea is a small, demanding stem plant native to Brazil, specifically in the regions of Pará, Tocantins, Bahia, Goiás, and Minas Gerais. Its stems grow 1.5 to 2 cm wide, from leaf tip to leaf tip. The submersed leaves exhibit striking red coloration on their upper side, which intensifies under strong light, often appearing as if it was brushed on. These red leaves may have small green spots. Emersed plants have green leaves and can grow larger in size.
