Description

Cyanotis sp. is a fast-growing marsh plant with a creeping growth habit. It belongs to the Commelinaceae family. When cultivated submersed, it forms smaller, shorter leaves on upright, straight stems. The leaves are lanceolate and grow in alternating rows. The plant resembles Murdannia keisak but stays smaller and more delicate. In an aquarium, its stems resemble bamboo stems.
