Description

Diodia virginiana is a perennial plant native to the southeastern United States and southern Florida, commonly found growing on roadsides, ditches, pond edges, and rivulet banks. Its emersed form exhibits a creeping to upright growth habit, with alternate lanceolate leaves. The plant produces small white flowers with four narrow, acuminate, and hirsute petals that are approximately 3-4 mm in length.
