Description

Echinodorus 'Rainer's Kitty' is a cultivar selected from Echinodorus 'Ozelot' by Tomas Kaliebe of ZooLogiCa nursery in Altlandsberg, Berlin. It was introduced to the market around 2002 and named after Rainer Leidtholdt, the nursery owner. This variety grows relatively small, reaching a height of 10-20 cm. Its distinctive features include wine-red coloration and spotted patterns, with older leaves tending towards green. Leaves are narrowly elliptical, measuring 10-20 cm long and 2-4 cm wide, with a slightly undulate margin and short stalk.
