Description

Echinodorus 'Reni' was bred by Tomas Kaliebe through crossbreeding E. 'Grosser Baer' and E. 'Ozelot', and introduced to market in 2003. Submerged, it features dark red leaves that are widely elliptical with slightly lighter-colored veins. It remains relatively small for an extended period, with leaves reaching up to 10 cm in length and 6 cm in width, making it suitable as a foreground plant. Over time, it will grow out, producing leaves up to 25 cm long and 8 cm wide, as well as 10 cm long leaf stalks. Echinodorus 'Reni' requires abundant light and nutrients.
