Description

Echinodorus 'St. Elmo's Fire' was bred by Tomas Kaliebe through crossbreeding Echinodorus 'Grosser Baer' and 'Ozelot', introduced to the market in 2003. This variety grows to a medium to large height, featuring long leaves with a light red flamed pattern under intense lighting. Its leaf blades reach up to 30 cm in length and 5.5 cm in width, while the leaf stalk attains a maximum length of 20 cm. Echinodorus 'St. Elmo's Fire' is relatively low-maintenance, tolerating moderate light levels, making it an ideal choice for solo placement in the mid-ground of an aquarium.
