Description

The red-stemmed form of Eichhornia azurea is less well-known among aquarists. Its flower characteristics unequivocally identify it as part of the species E. azurea, not E. heterosperma. This submerged plant has an intensively wine red stem that distinguishes it from "standard" E. azurea in all other aspects.
