Description

Eleocharis acicularis, also known as dwarf hairgrass or spikerush, is widely distributed globally. It can be found on pond edges and in shallow water in Central Europe. As an aquarium plant, it has been well-known for a long time and is often sold as a pond plant. The submersed form of this plant features thin, upright leaves with a medium green color, reaching lengths of 10-20 cm.
