Description

Hygrophila costata is a variable species that originates from the American tropics and subtropics. The stems of the emersed form are hairless or have very short hairs, with lanceolate leaves resembling those of a willow leaf. The small white flowers, measuring 1 cm in length, appear in groups exceeding 10 in the leaf axils.
