Description

Lilaeopsis mauritiana is an endemic plant of Mauritius and was first collected for aquaristic purposes in 1992. It was introduced to the market by Tropica under the name Lilaeopsis sp. "Mauritius" in 1995, later being described as a new species in 1999. This species has the narrowest leaves among all cultivated Lilaeopsis species.
