Description
This stem plant is a relatively small and bushy grower known as Limnophila cf. hippuridoides "Mini" or Limnophila aromatica in trade. It has unknown origins, but likely originates from tropical Asia like other related species. The plant is distinguished by its smaller size and more branching habit compared to Limnophila hippuridoides. Leaves are arranged in whorls that measure 5-6 cm wide, with 4-7 leaves per whorl, typically 5. Shoot tips have a light reddish color, while leaf undersides are strongly red-violet. Low light causes the leaves to appear light green. The plant grows at a moderate pace.
