Description
Lindernia dubia originates from eastern USA and has been introduced to other regions through human activities. It is an annual plant that grows in shallow waters and forms part of pioneer vegetation on muddy ground. In aquariums, it is a suitable accent plant for the foreground and middle ground, providing an alternative to plants like Bacopa caroliniana. Its slow growth and upright shoots make it suitable for various plant layouts. L. dubia requires full sun in nature, so it should be placed accordingly in aquascaping. It thrives in "high tech" tanks with intensive light, CO2, and controlled fertilization, producing a vibrant green color. It is not susceptible to nutrient deficiencies.
