Description

Shoreweed (Littorella uniflora) is a small plant closely related to plantains (genus Plantago). It reproduces by runners. Native to Europe, it thrives in shores and shallow-water zones of clear lakes and ponds with sandy ground, poor in nutrients and low in calcium.
