Description

Microsorum pteropus 'Red' is native to southern Thailand and was introduced by Tropica, a Danish aquatic plant nursery. This variety of Java fern grows to an impressive height and features broad leaves. Its distinctive characteristic is the brownish-red coloration of its young leaves, which turns green as they mature, similar to standard Java fern. Due to its tall growth habit, Red Java fern is well-suited for large aquariums.
