Description

This moss was found in a calcareous lake near Krabi, Thailand, by Prof. Benito C. Tan. Its appearance is similar to Vesicularia sp. "Mini Christmas Moss", but its shoots are more rigid. The plant has dense, regularly branching delicate shoots that attach to rocks and driftwood using rhizoids. It thrives in hardwater tanks due to its origin from a lake with high carbonate hardness.

Phosphate (PO4): 0.1-3mg/L
