Description

Vesicularia montagnei is a creeping moss native to the Asian tropics, commonly found in shaded riverbanks and forest soil. Its shoots resemble fir tree branches, with dense lateral growth under moderate light. The submersed form has triangular leaves with an overhanging habit, measuring 1-1.5 mm long. Emersed leaves are almost round to oval with a sharp point. Under microscopy, leaf cells appear broad and thin-walled.
